How to Care for Your Hands and Prevent Premature Aging

I am sure that you are aware of the fact that your hands give out your age. This is a true fact. If you do not care for your hands they will age faster than they should. Sun exposure, extended period in the water and chemicals in the things that we touch cause the skin on the hands to look dull and age quickly. It is for this reason that we need to pay some attention to your hands in order to ensure that they are healthy and do not let out the secret of our age.

Women need to ensure that they do not use harsh chemical detergents to wash the vessels. If you are using harsh chemical cleaners then use protective gloves to save your skin. Use mild cleaners as often as you can in order to prevent your skin getting dehydrated with these chemicals. After you are done washing the vessels make sure that you wash your hands with a hydrating hand wash and use a good hand cream that will restore the moisture to your skin. Repeat this as often as you put your hands in the water.

During the winter months you need to take extra care of your hands. Always keep them warm by using gloves and also keep them well moisturized. At this time it would be best to massage your hands with olive oil or coconut oil. Almond oil works best for your skin and gives it the most hydration.

Massage your hands once a week for 30 to 45 minutes. This helps to restore the blood circulation in your arms. Remember, when you massage your hands you are increasing and promoting skin renewal in the area; this is required as the delicate skin on the hands get damaged with all the activities of the day. You must invest in a good hand cream; I recommend any product with almond oil.

If your nails are weak or show signs of discoloration then you must soak them in warm water with a hint of lemon juice. The juice will help to get rid of any discoloration on your nails.
