Losing weight is a task and the aftermath is even worse. After you have shed the pounds you are left with saggy skin that is scarred with marks. Getting rid of the stretch marks is time consuming but not impossible and one must do their best to deal with the issue one step at a time.

If you watch shows that revels weight loss secrets you will also have seen people who have lost weight and are left with pounds of sagging skin.

You need to continue being motivated. The fact that you have lost the weight and are left with an unsightly skin condition may not be very appealing; however you must take into consideration the stress that your body is under and help it to heal.

To start the healing process you need to exfoliate your skin daily with a body scrub. Use a healthy amount of the scrub on your skin and massage it circular motions. This helps to increase the blood circulation and at the same time it helps to get rid of the dead cells on your body. Once you wash of the scrub; your skin feels softer and lighter.

You will notice the smooth texture of your skin. If you have stretch marks then you need to exfoliate your skin regularly for 3 to 4 months.

Immediately after scrubbing your skin you must use a moisturizing lotion on your skin to increase the firmness of the skin. Cocoa butter and vitamin E oils are the best lotions for your skin.

You must also hydrate your skin regularly. Drink plenty of water and eat fruits and vegetables that are high in water content. This helps to increase the amount of water in your body and helps to nourish your skin and provide it with the required amounts of nutrients.

Include plenty of protein and vitamins A, C & E in your diet. Fiber helps to have regular bowel movements and this in turn helps to improve your skin quality.

You must make sure that your skin care regime and diet is stable for 3 to 6 months and you will notice drastic changes in your skin.
