The tell tale signs of oily skin are visible on the face and if you do have oily skin then it would be in your best interest to take proper care of your skin. There are plenty of natural remedies that you could adopt to help you look after your skin and help reduce and control the oil production on your face.
The secretion of oil from the skin is not constant always. There are some months of the year when the oil secretion is much higher as compared to others. This home remedy would help you control and reduce the excess oil production caused seasonally. It also helps in the reduction of sebum which is one of the major common causes of acne and other skin diseases.
You would need a few ingredients to make your home remedy for oily skin. In a microwaveable bowl take some hazelnut oil and heat it on high power for about 5-10 seconds. Remove it quickly from the microwave and add this oil to cypress oil in another bowl and mix them thoroughly till they become one. Keep it aside and allow it to cool down to room temperature. Once this mixture has cooled down add some lavender oil and eucalyptus oil and stir all of it together again making sure that they mix well.
Remember to be gentle while you’re stirring the oil so that you avoid spilling any off it on the table. Once you are satisfied that everything has been mixed well pour the mixture into a bottle. Avoid using a plastic bottle and try using a glass bottle preferably one that has a dropper. Store this bottle in the fridge at all times.
Before using this on your skin ensure that you cleanse your skin thoroughly with a cleanser and toner. With the help of the dropper place a few drops of your home remedy in the palm of your hand and add a few drops of water. Massage your face and upper part of your neck with this mixture till it all gets absorbed by the skin. Finish off your skin treatment with a moisturizer.
