How to Curb Common Cravings

Chocolate is something that no person can resist. However it packed with calories and fats that do no good for your system. They increase the risk of acne and pimples especially in teenagers. If you must grab a candy bar choose on that is high in cocoa. Cocoa beans are beneficial for your health.

If you crave something cold and creamy don’t jump for the bowl of ice cream in your freezer. Choose a low fat custard or yogurt instead. These are dairy products that are high in protein and calcium. They are normally richer than ice creams and satisfy your craving at the same time they are lower in calories and provide you with the protein and calcium that your body demands. Regardless of your age it will leave you with a smile on your face. Beware of the calories that you are consuming though. Make sure that you are eating low fat desserts and always read the label on the products. Several imposters ramble the aisles of a supermarket.

If your mind and body is craving salts or crunchy foods jump for a bag of honey roasted or plain roasted nuts. Almonds, cashews and hazels are the most famous. They are normally mixed with black peppers and are lower in sodium compared to a bag of chips. They are low in calories yet have a high carbohydrate value. Nuts are great for your body in any case as they are high in fiber.

If your body craves something rich and chewy then you need to think about your priorities. You can choose to have a slice of low calorie chocolate cake or you may want to grab an energy bar. Both of them will provide you with the same amount of sugar however the latter will boost your stamina and keep you on the move thereby helping to burn any fats that you may have gained from it to begin with.
