Before you go to bed at night you must use a moisturizing lotion to protect your nail bed. Also wearing gloves after applying the lotion will help to strengthen and to make the nails healthy. You must also soak your nails in lemon juice once a week for 10 minutes. Do not overdo any nail treatments as too many products and treatments can lead to the nails becoming brittle and weaker. Do not expose your nails to water for long periods of time.
Your diet must consist of fresh fruits and vegetables that are high in water content and are rich in iron, zinc and vitamin B. This helps to improve the ridges on your nails. The best way to improve the texture and health of your nails is to improve your diet.
