How to Detox your Body to be Healthy

Everytime we breathe, eat and drink; we expose our body to millions of harmful chemicals and pollutants that are harmful to our body. Unfortunately, most of the foods that we eat are full of added chemicals that harm our bodies. In order to get rid of these chemicals and pollutants we must detoxify our bodies. There are several ways to do this.

Are there any signals that tell us we need a detox?

Yes, our body gives out various signals that tell us that is it in need of a detox. Some of them include allergies, constipation, weight gain and obesity or extreme weight loss and digestive issues. Toxins can live in our bodies an entire lifetime and hence must follow a diet that is specific to elimination of waste effectively and regularly.

What to do?

There are several things that you can do to detoxify your body. You must start immediately. There are several drugs in the market that help to detox your body and most of them claim to be made of natural products. One must keep in mind that no matter how many natural products they use, the process of making these is synthetic and hence most medical fields refuse to agree with the fact that these drugs are useful.

To help to detox your body, you must eat foods that are rich in fiber. The fiber in the food helps to eliminate toxins from your intestines and hence prevent damage to the colon and colon cancer. Eat foods like brown rice and whole wheat.

The next best food would be kelp. You must also drink plenty of water in order to eliminate toxins from your kidneys and liver.

Vegetables help to clean out toxins from your liver and prevent them from spreading. If your internal system has pesticides in them; then you must eat plenty of carrots. They help to get rid of pesticides and pollutants in your body.

In order to get rid of the toxins you must increase the amount of citrus in your body. Eating citrus based fruits and drinking citrus based juices are a good option. In addition you can also eat dried apricots.

Eat fruits that are rich in potassium.
