How to Ease Joint Pain

The area where two bones meet is known as a joint. There is little to no ease that you stand to gain even from the best medication. The aches and pains seem to last a lifetime even though that may not be the case. Common areas of complaint will be the upper and lower back, neck, feet, knees, shoulders and wrists. There are several remedies for these aches but one must first be able to pin point the reason for the ache. You need not fear for not all pains are arthritic pains.

If you wake up feeling sore in your back and neck then the problem area is your mattress and your pillow or your posture. Your mattress needs to be firm rather than soft, it needs to be able to support your body and help you to get a good night’s sleep.

If you are feeling pain after workout sessions then you need to stretch longer before you begin exercising and even after your workout.

In general there are several home remedies and natural remedies to help you to take care of your condition.

To begin with when you feel your joint begin to pain or your body getting sore you must have a hot water bath. Soak yourself in warm water for a few minutes. Add rock salt to the water to help you to ease the pain.

Joints pain can also be due to calcium deficiency. In this case you need to increase the amount by increasing your intake of dairy or having supplements.

During winter your joints tend to ache more than usual. It is during this timer that you must get body massages. Use a base oil of either olive or almond and add a few drops of peppermint oil or Rose oil to aid your massage. These oils help to relieve the aces and help to add heat to the body thereby decreasing the occurrence of the pain. After your massage you can either have a warm water bath, steam or simply wrap a towel immersed in hot water around your body and let the steam from the towel soothe your aching joints.
