Diet plays a primary role in the way our brain works too. Medical professionals have found out that a rich carbohydrate diet is ideal for children going to school and those who work in highly mentally active jobs. This was proved by a survey where three groups mixed of old and young people were given 3 different types of diet. One group just ate sugary breakfasts. The other group just had fruits and cereals and the last group were given a multi cereal breakfast. The last group had the best mental activity.
However it was found that those who ate a heavy lunch found it difficult to work after that and found it difficult to get over the stupor. One must have just taken some carbohydrates with vegetables. It may happen even in the case of people who eat a heavy non-vegetarian lunch. However it is difficult to categorize what food caused the stupor. This food could also have caused intolerance like an upset stomach, aching joints and migraines.
The exercise to find out which food is healthy and activates the brain could start by eating various foods in rotation. A certain type of meal could be taken for a period of two to three days and it’s effect studied. For example it is best to avoid wheat for a few days, then probably dairy and farm products like eggs and chicken. This system of rotation could easily help one to pinpoint the food one is not tolerant to and would help to eliminate the culprit.
Once the culprit is found and eliminated one can easily take those foods that promote healthy brain activity. However it would help if the rotation is carried on periodically and foods that had been eliminated previously be included. Their reaction on the health and activity on the brain can be studied. It is quite possible they now have a positive reaction on the health and brain activity.
These tips are sure to help anyone to find out what is the most healthy diet for them and what are the foods that helps them to activate their brain.
