How To Effectively Cure Lumbago With Home Remedies
The pain that you experience in your lower back is known as lumbago. This pain may be mild to severe and in some cases it is a chronic pain. If the pain lasts for more than 3 months and is severe and unbearable then it is chronic pain. You must exercise regularly in order to prevent any pains in your back and joints. Jogging, swimming and cycling are the best ways to ensure that your back is well exercised and prevent pains and damage to the tissues in the back. There are several back and abdominal exercises that you can do daily that will help to stretch the muscles and tissues in the back. You must make sure that you warm up before you start your exercise routine in order to prevent exerting excess pressure and strain on your back; this will prevent muscles pulls and back strains.
You must sleep on a firm mattress and avoid sleeping on your sides. Sleep on your back to make sure that you have a good posture. Use a pillow to alleviate your head and ensure good blood circulation. You must also use a support pillow when you sleep on your back.
Avoid lifting heavy weights. If you must then make sure that you bend your knees when you lift it first so that the weight gets evenly distributed on your legs rather than straining our back.
If your job requires you to sit for long hours then you must use a firm chair or get a pillow and place it behind your back. This will ensure that your back is well supported when you sit down. You must also avoid using a reclining chair as it tends to make you sit with a bad posture.
