Though pollen is known to be the most common reason that causes a person to sneeze and suffer from a runny nose; it is not the only factor. There are several other factors that cause a person to sneeze profusely and this can hamper the quality of ones life. Allergens are lurking in places that you would least expect and they can attack within a fraction of a second.

If you are sensitive and you find yourself sneezing often then there are a multitude of factors that can be causing your situation. First of all if you have a pet then you need to analyze if that is the reason for your discomfort. Pet danger and fur can cause a lot of hassles and can often be the reason for your allergies. If you don’t have pets then visitors who have pets at home can be the ones that carry the allergens with them; though they may not suffer from the allergies themselves. If you notice yourself sneezing the moment a person arrives and stop when they leave then you can be sure that they are the ones that are carrying the allergens with them.

Dust mites are another great threat to you if you have bouts of sneezing profusely. Your carpets are the place where dust mites lurk; though they are not the only place. Door handles, frames, couches, soft toys and curious are loaded with dust mites. You must make sure that you vacuum all these objects in your house.

Avoid having a bookshelf in your bedroom as it is the place that you tend to avoid when you are cleaning and dust mites thrive in these places. If it is in the room then you must make sure that it is as far away from your bed as possible or encase the bookshelf in glass.

Exchange your old pillows every few months. They are a cause of your sneezing. If you wake up every morning sneezing, with a heavy head and watery eyes then it is time to let go of your pillows and get new ones. You must also make sure that you dust your mattresses regularly.
