In order to have a glowing complexion you need to get rid of the dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. These cells are dull and they make your skin look unhealthy and lifeless. In order to get rid of them you need to exfoliate your skin. There are several commercially available face and body scrubs that you may use to rejuvenate your skin; however the best scrubs are the ones that you make for yourself as they cater to the needs of your skin.
For a facial scrub you need to combine raw sugar with extra virgin olive oil. Blend the two together so that the sugar is still thick. In order to make a body scrub you must mix equal portions of rock salt with baby oil. Before you start to exfoliate your skin you must dab some water on it in order to wet the skin. Start with exfoliating your face.
Apply the scrub on your finger tips and gently massage it in circular movements on your skin. In this way you will get rid of the dead skin cells. Also make sure that you do not exert too much pressure as it will break the delicate skin on your face. Massage the scrub in circular movements in order to increase the blood circulation in the area and this will indirectly make the healthy skin. Once you are done you must wash your face with warm water and wipe it dry with a towel.
The next step is to exfoliate the skin on your body. In order to do this you must wet the skin gently. Then start massaging the body scrub onto your skin in the same manner as you did with the face scrub. Pay keen attention to your knees and elbows as these are areas that are discolored due to pressure and dead skin accumulating on the area. When you are done exfoliating your entire body you can take a warm shower. After a shower wipe yourself dry and then apply moisturizing lotion all over your body to close your pores and lock in the natural oils in your body.Exfoliating your skin once a week will help to keep your skin clean and youthful.
