It is not uncommon for women to avoid washing their hair daily; especially during the colder months of the year. This leads to the hair getting oily or greasy and looking dull and limp. The obvious solution would be to wash the hair daily; however in some cases it’s not possible. Suffering from an illness could also be the reason preventing you from washing your hair daily and oil gathering on the length of your hair. In order to treatment of your hair from looking dull there are several trick that you can avail of.

Firstly you need to know that if you can’t wash your hair and your scalp that doesn’t mean you can’t prepare your hair for a few days of grease. On the day that you wash your hair you can use a product on your hair in order to prevent the formation of grease. Using a moose or a hair spray helps to set your hair and prevent oil forming on the roots or the length of your hair. Using a product protects your hair and helps you to go for a few days without a wash.

If you are avoiding washing your hair in summer then you need to be careful. This is the time of the year when you sweat and this causes dirt to accumulate on your scalp. In order to prevent this from making your hair look dull you can try tying your hair in braids. This helps to keep the hair in place. If showing off your braided locks is not your style then you can tie your hair up in a scarf. I must suggest not going more than a day without washing your hair during this season. Maintaining hygiene is very important during this season.

If you need to rush out of the house and your hair is unwashed and looks oily then you can try what I normally do in this situation. Pull all your hair over your face and apply loose talcum powder from the roots to the ends. Make sure that you do not use too much else you will show of white hair. This is an excellent quick fix for greasy hair.
