Pimples and acne is a very common hindrance in our lives. At some point or the other almost everyone has had to deal with acne. If you haven’t had a breakout as yet then you are lucky. However sooner or later you will have to deal with it.
This skin disease occurs mainly during the early teen years and is caused due to hormonal imbalances. There are a few other factors that could also cause acne to occur or further aggravate it.
Many people who suffer from acne try medication to deal with it however studies have shown that medication only harms the body and reduces its resistance and in some cases it can also cause damage the skin permanently. Acne can be treated effectively using natural remedies which would also help you obtain clearer skin.
The most effective way for acne treatment is with the help of water. Water helps to flush out the toxins that may be present inside your body. You should drink as much water as possible as this helps to keep your system clean.
Doctors recommend drinking seven to eight glasses of water daily to stay healthy. By flushing out the toxins and impurities from your body you cleanse the inside which reflects on the outside so drink plenty of water.
You should also ensure that you are hygienic. Make sure to change your pillow case often and avoid using the same pillow case for more that two to three days if you are suffering from acne.
In case the acne ruptures then your pillow case absorbs it and when you turn in your sleep the infection automatically spreads from one side of your face to the other side. Also ensure that your sheets and bed spreads are changed on a regular basis to avoid body acne.
Before you go to bed have a bath and make sure that you are clean. Wash your hair and face thoroughly before going to bed. If you have just returned home from a hard day at work avoid diving into bed before taking a shower and ensuring that you are clean. Many people wear make up or use hair gels or sprays. If you directly get into bed these products could latch onto your pillow cover and get onto your skin once you lie down causing your skin to get aggravated.
Never get into bed with footwear such as slippers and shoes. It is also important that you don’t allow strangers to get into your bed. Pets that are not well groomed should not be encouraged to get into your bed as they could spread bacteria which could be harmful to your skin.
Pay attention to your diet and exercise as this also helps dealing with acne. Eat healthy and avoid eating fried and oily foods. Make sure that you eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Exercise regularly as this helps you sweat and flush out toxins from the body. Remember to keep yourself hydrated and drink water especially when you exercise.
