
Odor from the feet can be embarrassing. You must nip the issue in the butt in order to prevent complications. There are a few at home solutions that you can use in order to get some sort of relief from the odor.
You need to have a foot routine when are suffering with an odor issue. Firstly you must start with washing your feet with warm water, do this 3 to 4 times a day. Use an anti bacterial soap; those used in the treatment of acne work well to get rid of foot odor. After you have washed you feet you must make sure that you dry them well.
Wipe in between the digits and the heel as well. After the feet are cleaned and dried you need to use a powder on them; something that will soak up extra perspiration form the feet. You must also use a dusting powder in your shoes in order to help prevent odor from being emitted.
For a quick fix and those times during the day when you being to feel uncomfortable you must use an antiperspirant spray; this helps to get rid of the odor and to reduce the sweat on your feet.
Avoid using the same pair of shoes for more than one day. You need to change your shoes as they may be the cause of the odor. At the end of the day you must air out your shoes so that they any odor and bacteria that are present in the shoes are taken care off. Keep your gym shoes and all other shoes separate. Never wear your gym shoes to any other place but the gym.
Wear sandals or go bare foot when you are at home; it gives your feet a change to breathe and reduces the possibility of odor. Soaking your feet in warm water with a few essential oils infused in the water helps to relax tired feet and prevents odor. You could also use baking powder and vinegar in the water that you soak your feet in for some extra pampering.
