
In most cases stinky feet are caused by bad hygiene. Not washing your feet frequently or not changing your socks regularly can lead to odor from your feet. When you perspire the sweat from your feet dries up and then causes the odor if not washed off. It can also be caused by wearing shoes with no socks for long periods. In this case a bacterium forms with the shoes and causes the odor. In certain cases, the odor can be caused by hormonal changes, stress and certain medication.
Some of the herbal and home remedies that are available to cure this odor is simple and yet extremely effective. As a preventive measure one must always wear socks when wearing closed shoes, avoid wearing the same pair of socks without washing and wash your feet with a disinfectant regularly.
If you suffer from foot odor then use baby powder on your foot before you use your shoes. This helps to soak the sweat and reduce the bacteria causing the odor.
Soak your feet in warm water and with anti perspirant and eau de cologne. The eau de cologne will help to eliminate the odor.
Apple cider vinegar rubbed all over your feet and in between your toes cause the odor to b eliminated and prevents further growth of bacteria.
When you boil rice and strain the water do not throw it out. The water is rich in starch and helps to get rid of the bacteria. Use the water to wash your feet or soak your feet in it.
To wash your soaks use a mixture of apple cider vinegar and warm water. This will help to kill the bacteria that cling onto the fabric. Use only cotton socks and avoid synthetic fabrics as cotton helps to soak in the sweat.
