No matter how hard you try the child does not respond to any remedies and there is no medical treatment available to calm the child. In any case medicating the child at such an early stage is never recommended.
There are a few things that you can do to calm the child down. Make sure that the child is comfortable in the clothes that he is wearing. Do not layer the child unless absolutely necessary. The room that the child is in needs to be clean, comfortable and the temperature needs to be bearable. Most children will cry if they are feeling hot or cold. Regulate the temperature accordingly.
A s a parent you must never get frustrated when you child cries. Rock the child or gently sway but never jerk the child to get her to stop, this will aggravate the crying even more. Burp the child several times to make sure that she is not suffering from gas or acidity and hence the outburst.
If nothing else works then give the child a warm bath. After the bath gently massage almond or olive oil on to the child’s body and play some light music to help the child to fall asleep.
