Keeping your skin well hydrated helps to prevent premature aging. The more attention you pay to your skin in your twenties will show results in your later years. I have a few secrets that will help to keep your skin well hydrated.
We all know that we need to drink several cups of water daily; but the point is that water is not always the most exciting option. If you are like me; then getting water down your system is difficult. I play around with several juices and additions to my glass of water. Keep in mind that thy must not all be high in sugar though.
Mix one cup of olive oil with a few spoons of salt. Stir the mixture and massage it all over your skin. The salt acts as an exfoliating agent that helps to remove the dead skin cells and at the same time the olive oil penetrates into your skin to give you a radiant glow. Wash it off during your shower. You will need warm water as the oil may act a little stubborn and may not leave your body easily. Avoid using near your eyes.
Another way to keep your skin well hydrated is to use a moisturizing lotion immediately after your shower. What happens in this case is that after your shower or bath your pores are open and they are able to absorb the moisturizer almost instantly.
When you are working in colder climates or in an air conditioned room; your skin remains dry throughout the day. In this case you must increase the amount of water you drink. Also, avoid drinking any drinks that have caffeine in them. The caffeine strips your skin of the moisture and causes premature aging.
Apply yogurt on your skin and massage it for a few minutes. Wash it off with warm water and a mild soap or face wash. You will notice a glow immediately
