Nobody wants to have a face that looks oily and dull. In our constant effort to improve our features we load our skin with cosmetics and products that are most likely to damage the texture and surface of the skin. The first thing that a person notices is your skin and thus keeping it clean and healthy needs to be a priority.
Washing the surface of the skin is the most important thing. Wash your skin every 4 to 5 hours, but do so with gentle cleansers rather than with harsh soaps. Pour a few drops of the face wash on your finger tips and work it to form lather and then massage your face in circular motions. This helps to clean the surface of the skin. Wash your face gently and pat it dry.
During the warm winter months the skin on your face gets dry and the veins in your face begin to show. In order to lessen the impact of the protruding veins you need to place a warm towel on your face every night. Run some hot water and place your towel in it. Wring out the water and wrap your face in it. The warm vapors acts as cleansers to clean your face from deep within the pores and also ensures that the veins on your face do not show.
Cocoa butter is the best moisturizer for your skin. Massage it onto your skin immediately after a bath. In this way the skin absorbs all the nutrients from the cream and hydrates your skin. Cocoa butter also blends with your skin to get rid of scars and minimizes the effect of any scars left after an acne attack.
Eating healthy is one of your options. The nutrients from the food that you eat nourish your skin and provide it with proteins and essential vitamins. This does not mean that you need to give up your favorite foods; you just need to make sure that you are eating healthy foods and that your body is getting the essential amount of hydration that it requires.
