How to Improve the Texture of your Skin with Gentle Home Care

I don’t know how far this is true but I heard someone say that the largest organ in our body is our skin. It helps to old together all the other organs and often it is put through torture of pollution, heat, cosmetics and bad diets. We take care of our skin only when it shows signs of concern; however, one must remember that it is important to take care of your skin always. It is one of the main components that help to reveal your true age. If uncared for it can cause sagging, acne or premature aging and age spots.

The sun is one of the worst enemies of our skin. Exposure to the sun causes aging, tanning and can also cause skin cancer. In addition to that the sun causes age spots to appear prematurely on your skin. You must protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun. They cause several skin diseases and disorders. If you do not have the time then you must use a moisturizer with a mild sunscreen built in it.

The other important factor to keep your skin healthy is to add moisture to your skin. If it lacks moisture then it starts to show signs of aging in the form of wrinkles and fine lines, blemishes and scars on your face. It is important to hydrate skin well. Drinking water and fresh fruit juices is a part of your daily regime for good health and it improves your skin as well.

To help your skin to avoid aging prematurely, you must get rid of all the traces of make up by using a mild make up remover before you sleep at night. Wash your face with warm water and a mild soap that does not steal the moisture from your skin. Use a mild alcohol free toner and astringent.

Lastly use a moisturizer that suits your skin type.
