How To Keep Common Headaches At Bay
Headaches are common. They affect almost every one and can attack at any point in time. It is normally nature’s way of intimating you that there is something wrong in your body. Several factors give rise to these headaches.
Something as common as an irritation caused by a certain aroma to something as severe as emotional distress causes these headaches. Certain foods like milk and milk based products, chocolates and cheese, liver and alcohol cause this condition.
There are a few simple home remedies that you can avail of in order to keep your aches under control and to prevent them from disrupting your life. When you are trying to keep your headaches under control the first thing you need to do is relax. Sit down in a comfortable position and breathe inhale slowly through the nose and exhale through the mouth. This will help you to control the stabbing aches.
Relaxing your body and preventing strain in your shoulder and neck region is the first step to getting rid of the headaches. The nest thing you need to do is to brew a cup of strong tea. Add a few drops of lemon juice to the tea and drink it warm.
Make sure that you are relaxed when you are having your sup of tea and sip it slowly making sure that you breathe in the aroma of the tea. This will help to relax your nerves, control the factors that cause the headaches and eventually stop the pain.
The worst thing you could do is jump into your medicine cabinet and pop few pills. Your body will create a dependence on the pills and this will be dangerous to your system. Bite into an apple instead. Each bite and crunch will help to ease the pain and eventually get rid of it completely.
If you suffer from chronic headaches or migraines then you must slice and apple and sprinkle salt on it and eat this first thing in the morning. It will be an effective way to get rid of the pain.
Make sure that you avoid stressors. Exercising for 30 to 45 minutes in the day is also an effective way to get rid of the headaches.
