How to Keep Your Skin from Aging
We are all aware of the fact that the human skin is the largest organ in the human body. Though this is a fact it is the part that is exposed to several harsh conditions and it leads to showing signs of aging in the form of age spots and wrinkles. Conditions like change in weather conditions, pollution, stress and lack of sleep show adverse effects on your skin. Though aging is an irreversible process; there are several things that you can do to protect your skin.
You must avoid washing your face too often. The water steals the natural oils from your skin and this leads to dry skin, wrinkles and premature aging. You must also be very particular about the products that you use on your skin. Use soaps and shampoos that are made with natural products, these enhance the texture of your skin and your complexion. You must keep your skin well hydrated. Drinking water is the best way to ensure that. In this manner you hydrate the skin internally.
You can also use creams and lotions topically for superficial treatments. You must invest in a good moisturizer. Almond oil is the best moisturizer. It helps to prevent aging and moisturizes your skin well. Use the oil on your face and neck, arms and legs and all other exposed parts of your body. You must also use a sunscreen when you are outdoors; no matter how long you may be out. Even 5 minutes of sun exposure can damage your skin. Use an under eye cream daily. This prevents sagging skin, dark circles and puffiness around the eyes. Massage your eyes with your fingers daily to keep wrinkles and lines at bay.
You must also use a face mask once a week. This will cleanse your pores and add minerals to your skin. Find a masque that suits your skin type. Fuller’s earth is a good mask to use on all skin types and it is full of healthy minerals that nourish your skin.
