Before you start this program you need to mark the start date and the end date on your calendar. This will help you to stay focused on your goal. If you break the diet plan for even a single day you need to start over from day one. In this way you will work smarter and more efficiently.
One of the most important things that you need to do in order to loose weight is to eat 3 meals a day. This will prevent binging sessions in between meals and will also prevent you from eating unhealthy snacks. Your main meals need to be rich in protein, fiber, and carbohydrates and low in fat. This is the first step in your plan.
Step 2 requires you to get rid of all unhealthy snacks from your pantry and purchase healthy snacks. Nuts, dry fruits, low fat yogurt and whole grain cookies are healthy snacks and you can snack on them at regular intervals. If you are hungry in between meals then you must eat a serving of steamed corn without any butter or salt added to it.
Step 3 stated that you must start your day with breakfast. A healthy breakfast includes a glass of orange juice, tea or coffee without sugar, a piece of toast and a boiled egg. If you do not have time for a long breakfast then you can eat a bowl of porridge or cereal.
Step 4 requires you to eat 3 to 5 servings of fresh fruits during the day. The natural sugars in the fruit prevents sugar cravings are reduces your temptation. You could also eat frozen fruits. Yogurt is also a good snack option and the natural bacteria in the yogurt aids digestion and prevents weight gain.
The last and most important step is to control your intake of sodium and sugar. Both these are dangerous to your body; the former causes water retention and thus gives you a bloating sensation. The latter adds empty calories to your system and this leads to excess weight gain.
