How To Lose Weight Using Aromatherapy

Weight watches will be glad to know that besides a good diet plan and plenty of exercise; aromatherapy will also help to shed those unwanted pounds. But be ware that you cannot use the therapy alone to achieve your target; you must have other forms that will help you as well.

When it comes to fragrances, there are several that will help you with your weight as well as the complexities that come along with losing weight.

Take vanilla for example. The sweet smell puts your cravings for sweets, pastries and chocolates at bay. The scent is so strong that it kills your cravings. Burn a vanilla scented candle when you sit down to dinner or a few minutes before that so that the fragrance will send messages to your brain that will in turn help you to serve and thereby eat smaller portions. It will work just as effectively in an electric or domestic diffuser.

When you are on a diet, you need to watch your appetite and curb it as far as possible. Patchouli helps you to do just that. You must add a few drops of the oil in a diffuser and keep in on through out the day. It helps to keep you away from snacking on food during the course of the day.

Often when you are on a diet, you tend to lose confidence if you do not reach your desired weight within the period you hoped to get it in. in this case you need a confidence booster.

Sandalwood will help you to do just that. Pour sandalwood powder over a few pieces of burning coal and let the fumes into your room. Close the doors and let the air circulate in the room. Enter the room only at night. You will wake up with higher levels of confidence.
