How to maintain healthy ligament

Performing small stretches and simple exercises can increase the flow of blood in cartilages and maintain a healthy ligament. A number of exercises along with early detection of osteoporosis can prevent much damage to the ligament.
Forward flexing: Slowly allowing one’s head to fall forward so as to feel the chin touching the chest. The moment the person feels the stretch of the muscles, he must remain in that position till the time he is at ease, at the most 30 seconds.
Backward flexing: Slowly allowing one’s head to bend backwards so that one can see the sky. The moment the person feels the pull on the front portion of the neck, he must remain in that position till the time he is comfortable, up to a maximum of 30 seconds.
Rotating right: The person while standing straight and the shoulders facing forward, must turn his head to the right. When he feels the stretch or pull of the muscles, he must stop and remain in that position until the time he feels fine, upto a maximum of 30 seconds.
Rotating left: The person standing straight and with shoulders facing forward must turn his head to the left till he faces the stretch of the muscles. He should stop immediately and remain in that position till he is comfortable, up to a maximum of 30 seconds.
