We all covet glowing skin that is radiant and attracts attention. Unfortunately not all of us are born with that kind of skin nor do all of us have the cash to throw around to buy the products that are favorite celebrities use to look the way they do. Fortunately we are blessed with time and energy to make these beauty products at home.
To begin the process you need to wash your face with warm water and a face wash that suits your skin type. Use the products that you normally use but avoid soap as it dries your skin out.
After you have washed your face you need to steam it. You can use a facial steamer; however, if you do not have one then you need not worry. Simply boil a pot of water and add a few drops of rose water or lavender oils to it. After it has boiled cover it with a towel and then after a few seconds place your face at a safe distance from it so that the steam helps to open your pores and clean them. Steam your face for about 10 minutes till you move on to the next step.
Now that your pores are open you need to use a facial product to exfoliate your skin and get rid of the dry skin cells that make your face look dull and lifeless. Use an almond or apricot scrub on your face. You can choose to make one at home or buy any product that is available over the counter at a drug store.
The last step is to close the pores and complete the regime. To close the open pores you need to use a face pack. The best natural face pack is fuller’s earth. Mix lemon juice and honey in it along with a few drops of water. The lemon will exfoliate the rest of the skin, honey acts as an anti bacterial that helps to prevent fungal growth and acne breakouts. Let the pack stay on your skin till it dries out and then wash it off with ice cold water.
Use an astringent or a toner immediately after the wash. You will have the glowing radiant skin that you desire.
