The diet of a person suffering with peptic ulcers must be well planned. Milk, butter, fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh juices, boiled vegetables and natural foods are the best food options as they reduce irritation and prohibit the formation of gas in the stomach.
Almond milk is also very effective as a cure for this condition. Blanch almonds and blend them to extract the milk from these nuts. The milk supplies the body with a huge dose of protein while binding in the excess acids in the stomach.
Carrot juice, spinach juice and cucumber juice are all effective in the treatment of this condition. Each serving of the juice must be 300 ml and you may have 3 to 4 serving of the juices in a day. You may also have a combination of all the juices for an extra punch.
Goat’s milk helps to heal peptic ulcers. Drinking goat’s milk in the raw state will be beneficial to the condition.
Bananas are the best remedy for this condition. There is a compound in the fruit that helps to soothe any pain caused by the ulcers. It also neutralizes the acidic formation in the stomach and prevents irritation caused by the ulcers. You may eat 2 to 3 bananas in the day followed by a glass of milk.
Fruits that are high in citric acid are beneficial to this condition. Limes, oranges, lemons and berries are all citric in nature and they provide the body with mineral salts that are beneficial to the body and aid digestion.
You must avoid eating foods that are spicy and salty as they aggravate the condition and cause irritation.
