
If you are the kind of person that stays up late at night in order to complete work then you are just like me. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t mean to say that you leave all your work for the last minute. There are several people who find themselves more productive at night that during the day.
I relate to this completely. I complete most of my chores by day and work by night and there are a few million others who do the same. It is not uncommon for stay at home moms to work in this manner. The down side to this is you tend to loose track of time and overshoot your deadline and stay awake later that you expected to.
When you are awake the one thing that tends to happen is snacking on unhealthy foods. To begin with if you are awake at night you must avoid eating anything; it is the time of the day when you stomach needs a rest. Eating at this time loads your body with calories; the kinds that don’t get digested.
Eating at night can lead to obesity, gastric disorders, heart diseases, cancer, low self esteem, lack of energy and lack of confidence. In order to prevent these symptoms from being a part of your life you must avoid eating at night when you are not hungry.
How to quit binging at night?
Binging at night is an addiction. It needs a lot of motivation to get rid of. If you work at night and sleep during the day you need to make sure that you are eating the right amount of foods. Avoid eating fast foods like chips and crisps at night. You must also snack on healthy food if you feel the urge to snack. Nuts and dry fruits make healthy snacks so do fruits and raw veggies. Foods like pastas and breads must be avoided. You may also drink a glass of warm milk if you feel hungry. It is also a good way to end your long day.
Every time you crave food drink a glass of water instead; it’s a healthy way to get rid of your cravings.
