How To Prevent Formation of Gall Stones
Gall stones are a common phenomenon in adults over the age of 40. It is common to both sexes. When you put on excess fat, your gall bladder works over time to process and assimilate the fats and this results in the formation of gall stones.
Tips to reduce the possibility of the formation of gall stones:
In women; certain contraceptives cause the formation of gall stones. You need to talk to your doctor about the possibility of changing these contraceptives and using oral contraceptives.
While coffee is considered unhealthy in most cases, caffeine intake helps to reduce the possibility of gallstones. Drinking 4 to 5 cups of coffee or aerated drinks that consist of coffee are a good option.
When you are on a diet you must take care not to loose weight rapidly. If the secretion of bile decreases at a fast pace; there is a possibility that there will be a formation of gall stones. However; loosing weight definitely helps.
Avoid a low calorie crash diet and opt for a diet that is healthy and reduces your carbohydrates. Lowering your sugar intake is a good option. You can replace it with fresh fruits and juices. Avoid desserts after meals and munch on fruits. Snack on dry fruits instead of fast foods.
Exercising is always good. A cardio workout for about an hour every day will definitely do your body a world of good. If you are over weight then a diet with exercise to compliment the diet will help to improve your health, reduce weight and effectively help to reduce the possibility of gall stones. Avoid rapid weight loss at all cost.
If you are eating fat then your choice must be mono unsaturated fats. These help to break down the fats faster and get absorbed by the blood rapidly.
