
The research that is released to the public states that the swine flu that initially was transmitted from the swine to humans is now being transmitted by humans to one another. It is spreading across the globe due to frequent traveling. While health organizations are doing their best to prevent the spread of this disease; it is the duty of every individual to take precautions to prevent attracting the disease.
Symptoms of the disease
Considering that it is flu, the common symptoms are fever aaccompanied by a common cold and cough. Lack of appetite, extreme fatigue, and muscle aches are the other symptoms that have been recorded.
Preventive measures
The best thing you can do to avoid the flu right now is to avoid public places and travel. Use of public toilets and urinals are the most dangerous at this point in time. Avoid traveling unless it is absolutely necessary. Avoid borrowing common items like pens and other stationary as they are the largest carrier of germs. Beware of where you keep your belongings like your bag and your cell phone.
-Remember your cell phone is laced closest to your face and hence you must be careful not to lay it on a public place like a table or a ticket window where thousands of people have placed their belongings.
-The flu is known to spread by contact. Avoid physical contact with strangers. Sanitize your hand well after a handshake. Avoid sharing a drink or food with others.
-Wash your fruits and vegetables before cooking. Soak them in warm water and add a few drops of chlorine in the water to disinfect it and eradicate any germs.
-Wash your hands and face as many time as possible. Cover your nose and mouth when you are in public places.
