How To Reduce Joint Pain During Winter

Joint pains get aggravated during the winter season. Especially the elderly find this problem more painful during the cold weather conditions. Pain due arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis etc. gets worsen in these days. The people indulged in tough physical activities also experience an increase in joint pain during winter. However, a little effort can ease the problem to a great degree.

There are various home based remedies to reduce joint pain during summer. Message of joints with some pain relieving gel is helpful. A mild and sensible exercise is also very effective in reducing pain. However, rigorous exercises should be completely avoided if you have a problem of joint pain because it can make the situation more difficult and pain can become intolerable. Activities which make the blood circulation of the body easy and consistent are helpful in reducing pain during winter.

Experts suggest that proper food and diet can also be very beneficial to avoid pain due to arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Intake of fresh fruits and vegetable is very helpful. The diuretic properties of vegetables like carrot, cucumber, radish etc. are helpful in eliminating the waste products easily and hence can avoid problems like constipation etc which can lead to other health complications. Taking fruit juice on a regular basis is also very helpful.

In case you are suffering from arthritis, garlic can be a good remedy. Take to garlic cloves empty stomach in the morning. Garlic also helps in regulating the blood pressure and hence can give relief from the pain during winter. Taking ginger extract with one teaspoonful of honey is also very effective during winter.

Take one lemon, cut it into two pieces, squeeze the juices out of it, mix it with one teaspoonful of honey. Take it twice a day in the morning and in night while going to bed. You will find that the pain due to arthritis is reducing slowly but certainly. Message with lavender oil daily while going to bed is also very effective during winter. If you find none of these remedies are helpful, you should consult a doctor for diagnosis.
