Another way to avoid the pain is to reduce salt intake. This is a difficult task as your body will crave salty foods during this time. Foods to avoid are chips and French fries as well as other fried fast foods. Cook food without salt and avoid adding it topically.

Watch what you eat. You need to reduce the amount of fats you consume at this time. If you are consuming foods that are high in fats you are increasing the chances of your breasts causing you pain. Fresh fruits, raw vegetables and leafy veggies are the best foods to consume during this period.

If the pain is hampering your daily activities then you need to use a hot or cold compress to ease the pain. If you bathe in hot water then you must soak in the tub for a few minutes longer than you normally would; this helps to reduce and ease the pain in the breasts. You could also apply a hot water compress in the night before you go to bed in order to enable you to get some rest during the night.
