How To Reduce Pollution And Be Healthy On A Vegetarian Diet

July 1, 2009

Research has found that a pure vegetarian diet helps to reduce pollution and make one live a healthy life. Many people have already realized this point seeing the ill-effects of  global warming and the ill-effects on health by taking a non-vegetarian diet.

Yes, it is perfectly right. A vegetarian diet helps to lose and maintain weight. This is a very healthy way to live life well. Taking good amounts of fruits and vegetables helps to provide fiber and helps in the detoxification of the body. Detoxification helps in eliminating waste from the body got through pollutants in water, air and food.

Fresh fruit and vegetables, cereals, whole-grains and pulses help to stabilize the sugar level and makes one feel energetic and healthy always;unlike most non-vegetarians. This is due to the fact that the non-vegetarian miss on the vitamins contained in fruits and vegetables.

Non-vegetarian diet is nothing but the meat of dead animals. Anyone having a non-vegetarian diet is susceptible to all the diseases the dead animal may have had leading to the creation of toxins from them. Anyone who realizes this point will surely like to turn to vegetarian diet that helps instead to eliminate the toxins in the body.

It is best to hook on to a vegetarian diet if you want to make a significant contribution towards reducing pollution and costs to maintain the environment and beneficial climatic targets. It is in the interest of the Earth to eliminate animal waste and divert land used to grow livestock to building carbon-absorbing forests that could eliminate and reduce the impact of carbon emissions.

Anyone who wants to be healthy would feel still more better if he could do it on an economical budget. Vegetarian diet gives you healthy diet with all nutrients like fruits, vegetables and milk products at a fraction of the cost of non-vegetarian diet.

It is also in the interest of the earth to save 70% to 80% of the expenses to reduce pollution and in the interest of all to have vegetables which are available in abundance in the most healthy form than to take a non-vegetarian diet with it’s scarcity and deficient nature.  Besides the flora and fauna of the world helps to preserve a green world and reduce pollution. Hence it is best to give a serious thought to the amount of depletion of the fauna in our planet and give a serious thought to change from a non-vegetarian to a vegetarian diet.

It is good to consider another health aspect of a vegetarian diet that gives natural protection from heart diseases with the additional bonus of reducing pollution and global warming. A Vegan(not consuming milk and milk products too) can reduce the fats in his diet.

To conclude those on a vegetarian diet are more healthy and lives longer than a non-vegetarian.  A vegetarian diet promotes a better immune system to help fight diseases like cancer especially breast cancer. Hence non-vegetarians change your lifestyle and diet habits and embrace a vegetarian diet to not only be healthy but also to reduce the pollution on earth and make it a much better place.
