Stress is a part of our lives; whether we like it or not. For most of us it is that part of our lives that gives us the drive to continue. As healthy as general stress may be; it needs to be limited as too much stress can take a toll on your physical and mental health. Stress can lead to severe illnesses and managing your stress levels can be effective in the cure of depression and anxiety.

If your stress is work related and managing deadlines is getting to you; then there are several solutions to the issue. First you must start with delegating all the excess work that you are not able to deal with. Taking breaks within your work day to take a walk or to grab a snack or lunch are effective ways to reduce your stress levels. It also helps to make you break away from the monotony of work. Few short breaks will help you to be more productive when you get back to your desk. When you have completed a task you must take time to reward yourself. A sweet treat or just a short break will help to revive your senses. Avoid rushing to the next task immediately.

If managing work and family and balancing both seem to be disturbing you then it is in your best interest to focus on work during the week and take time out to relax with the family over the weekends. Taking vacations with the family is also extremely helpful to relax and bond.
