I never suffered from Gas; until I got pregnant. The pain that I suffered during those nine months was something that I had never experienced before in my life.

Milk, cheese and ice cream may increase gas. Vegetables like cabbage, beans, lentils and asparagus are known to have the same effect. Juices that contain natural fruits in them may also cause gas. If you eat fiber rich foods that are not absorbed by the body; you may suffer from gas.
What To Do When You Suffer From Gas?
When you are pregnant you are likely to overeat. You must avoid this. Eat plenty of small meals instead of binging during one meal. This will help to prevent any gas breakouts. You must also eat your meals with ease. Do not gulp your food quickly; when you do so you increase the amount of air that you swallow and in this way you cause gas pockets in your stomach. When you chew gum or eat hard candy there is a possibility that you may swallow a lot of air and hence you must avoid these sweets.
If you are experiencing gas as a result of constipation then you must speak with your doctor about using a stool softener. This will help to ease your discomfort.
Exercising also helps to put you at ease. When you exercise you increase the flow of blood throughout your body and hence you help to release the gas from your body.
