How to Save Your Soles and Prevent Foot Injuries

Women feel that the higher their heels the sexier they look and to attain this sexy seductress look they will go to heights and even compromise on their health. Wearing high heeled shoes can have adverse effects on your feet. It can cause a burning sensation in your foot, cause muscles and foot cramps and even hurt your lower back.

In order to protect your feet; you must make sure that you do not use high heeled shoes for extended periods of time. If you must wear them to work or for an occasion then make sure that you do not travel in the same footwear. Wear comfortable footwear when you travel to the destination.

When you return, if your feet are paining or have blisters then you must soak your feet in warm water for a few minutes. This helps to ease the stress that your feet have been through. The warm water eases the muscles pain by relaxing the muscles and the ankles.

If your profession demands that you stand for a number of hours; then you must make sure that you rest your feet when you can. During your breaks make sure that you do not stand or walk around. Sit and rest your feet; it will also help your lower back.

There are a few exercises that you can try to ease the pain. Stand with your feet apart so that the distance is equal to your hips. Bend your knees slowly as much as you can. Then bend backwards and count to 10. This will help to get rid of any back pain as well as reduces the stress on your heels.

Another helpful exercise that will be extremely beneficial to your heels is foot rotations. Sit on a chair with your back against the rest. Rotate your foot in circular motions. Do the exercises for 10 to 15 minutes then do it in the opposite direction. After you have completed exercising both feet; soak them in warm water for a few minutes. Your feet will feel relaxed and you will not experience any foot pain.
