Remember that the virus causes influenza and those suffering from respiratory diseases or have medical conditions on the lines of HIV/AIDS, cancer and diabetes are at greater risk of contracting the disease. However, no matter how healthy you are; you are at risk if you come in contact with someone who has already contracted the virus. It cannot spread by consuming pork.
Eating a healthy diet and maintaining balance in your life is the best way to prevent the flu. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water.
