How to Stop Acne from Spreading
Acne is caused by clogged pores that develop blackheads and white heads and leads to bumps on your face. It causes redness and patchy skin. Cleansing you skin regularly with products that suit your skin type is important followed by maintaining a healthy diet.
In order to stop the acne you need to tackle the bacteria that spread the germs. Wash your face regularly with a cleansing bar or face wash that suits your skin. Steam your face daily to open your pores and get rid of the oil and dirt from your pores. Add 2 drops of tea tree oil in the water that you use to steam your face. Tea tree oil helps to fight the bacteria that spread the acne and helps to close your pores after cleaning them. After steaming your face you must use a tea tree oil based moisturizer or add a drop of the oil to coconut oil and massage it onto your face. This will definitely eliminate the bacteria from within.
Use a face scrub on your face and neck once a week to clean your pores and remove the excess oils from your pores.
Get a facial twice a month if you have severe acne and once a week if it is mild. Always get a professional to do your facial as an amateur may cause permanent damage to your skin.
Always keep your levels of hygiene high. Keep your finger nails short and do not press or poke the pimples on your face. This causes the bacteria to spread. Picking at the pimples also causes scars.
Use natural products like fuller’s earth as a face pack on your face. This helps to clean the pores and removes the oils from deep within. It also helps to dry pimples and acne zits.
As for your diet, plenty of water is a must. Avoid indulging in alcohol, caffeine and red meats. If you smoke then you need to stop. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, milk and dairy products are of high priority and so is fish due to the high protein content.

I use tea tree oil to help fight pimples. I also take fish oils and flaxseed oil to get an extra source of omega 3 fatty acids in the diet. Omega 3 fatty acids have been found to have an anti-inflammatory effect in the body. This effect may help reduce acne as this is an inflammation of the skin.
