Your hands; like your feet are tortured all day long. If your feet are responsible for taking on the burden of your body weight then your hands are responsible for all the activities that you need to conduct on a daily, hourly and minute by minute basis.
There are several treatments that you can use in order to keep your hands soft and luscious and get rid of the stress that they go through. However, not all of us have the time during the day to sit around and get pampered. Thus the night is the best time to get these treatments done.
First you need to wash your hands with warm water. If you can have a bath just before you go to bed then you will benefit more. Water helps to open your pores; this is a good way to prepare your skin for the next few steps.
After you have washed your hands you must get rid of the excess water from it; however ensure that the skin is still moist. Dab on a rich moisturizing while your skin is still moist. I recommend using almond creams or moisturizers however cocoa butter and other body butters work well to moisturize your skin. Now when you are using the moisturizer remember to be generous; the more you use the better the result so slather on a thick layer on your skin.
When you sleep you do not want to transfer the lotions and products onto your sheets and linen and hence you need to wear gloves. They also help to lock in the moisture and hydrate your skin all through the night. Use old gloves; thicker the better so get out your winter gear.
If you follow these steps religiously then you will notice softer more youthful looking hands when you wake up in the morning. You will be able to see positive results from the first night itself. You may use this treatment on your entire body in order to hydrate and nourish the skin on your entire body.
