Have you ever wondered why your skin develops rashes after eating some particular food items or why you start sneezing when you step out of your home? You might be suffering from allergy. There is nothing to worry about and you do not have to rush to doctor immediately. There are some effective home remedies for allergy that you can use from your regular kitchen cabinet. Relying on natural allergy remedies is also good because the drugs with decongestants and antihistamines can make you prone to several side effects such as tiredness, sleepiness, dizziness, vomiting, swelling, eczema, etc.
Prepare a mixture of chamomile tea, mallow, lime and water. Take a container and fill one liter of water into it. Add each herb in equal proportion of 15 grams. Boil the water with herbs for five minutes and strain the solution in another container. Allow it to get into the normal temperature and after that, wet cotton pad into the solution and apply on the affected area. You can also prepare chamomile leaves as tea, after mixing it with honey or lemon. It tastes amazing and it is also beneficial for allergy treatment.
Get emulsifying wax, beeswax and sunflower oil. Take pure water and add four teaspoons into a container. Grate the beeswax and take two teaspoons of it. Now add one teaspoon of emulsifying wax and also five teaspoons of sunflower oil. Put the container under mild flame until the waxes get melted. Gradually, the solution will turn oily. Allow it to get back into normal temperature and then put it in a dry container. Keep the container into refrigerator for a while. Use it as a cream on the affected areas.
Seeds such as sesame seeds, fennel seeds and cumin seeds provide great relief from food allergy. Take 25 grams of all the three seeds and roast them individually. After individual roasting, mix them together and add half teaspoon of rock salt. Take a glass jar and accumulate the mixture. After every meal, chew this mixture. The natural ingredients of this mixture help in digestion and fights allergy.
Apart from other herbs, Apple Cider Vinegar, Alfalfa, Eucalyptus, Red Clover and Licorice Root can also be used to treat the common allergies.
