How to turn away the effects of stress

Stress is a very common word found the dictionary of nearly all the persons in the present world. One often becomes stressed due to the difficulty in finishing loads of work that needs to be finished on time. It is in general speaking, a situation of concern that involves the claim of mental and physical energy of a person to the full extent. One can easily turn away the effects of stress by following some simple techniques:Exercise: This is an excellent tool for reducing stress. Regular exercise helps in discharging the residential tension of the body and also promotes the overall health of the body. It stimulates the endorphins and other happy hormones of the body thereby producing a feeling of freshness and wellness in the body.

Yoga: Yoga is an essential method of releasing stress of the body and it needs to be practiced daily. It improves the mood of a person, refreshes the mind and also promotes the physical, mental and spiritual relaxation of the brain and body.

Physically, yoga stretches the muscles that have been made tense by the work throughout the day. Mentally, yoga creates a distraction from the anxious thoughts that disturb the well-being of the mind. Spiritually, yoga is looked upon as a method of connecting oneself to the Divine.

Meditation: Meditation is a technique by which the stress and strain of the body are totally reduced and can help one to remain in the active life with mental peace, happiness and harmony. It is a way that helps in delivering our action to be more efficient, productive and progressive without disturbing the peace and calmness of the mind.

Yoghurt: Yoghurt is a very good remedy for stress. Since it is full of vitamin A, D and B complex, it helps in providing relief to insomnia, cramps linked with menstruation and migraine problems. Yoghurt is a good stress reliever as a diet plan.

Holy Basil: Holy basil helps in relieving stress by chewing some leaves of the herb in the morning and in the evening. It is also known as anti-stress agents and is highly valuable in stress management.

Besides these, sage leaves, alfalfa and sunflower seeds, blackstrap molasses, hot water bath and brisk walking are some ways of relieving stress from our everyday life.
