Stress is a relatively common factor. It can be bought about by almost any trigger. Most common triggers are finance, family, relationships and work. Stress causes anxiety and fatigue. Even a simple act like asking someone to marry you could be a cause of great amounts of stress. Stress is a reaction to a stimulus; it could be a positive or a negative stimulus. Stress can cause hunger, thirst, lack of energy, headaches and migraines, loss of appetite and even loss of libido.

The first stage of stress is the alarm stage. In this stage the body reacts to the stimulus by increasing heartbeat, sweaty outbursts, redness on the face and biological changes like changes in the digestive system, and an increased blood pressure. The next stage is the fight or flight stage. In this stage the body reacts to the stress by either coping with the stress or by breaking down.

You need to fight the feeling that you are about to break down. When this happens your body and mind will give up and get the most of you. When you body gets stressed out it will get stiff. Start with closing your eyes and taking in deep breaths. This will help to control muscle stiffness. Close your eyes and place your feet flat on the ground. Place your hands anyways that make you comfortable. Then breathe in to the count of 8. Hold your breath to the count of 16 and then exhale to the count of 8. Do this for a few minutes. Deep breathing will reduce muscles stiffness. You will also benefit from this as yoga states that placing your feet flat on the ground invites positive energy and fights negative powers.

Taking a warm bath will also help. When your body soaks in the warm water it will get a natural massage and the water will help to ease any stiffness and muscles tension. You may add a few aromatic essential oils to the water in order to help to ease stress and anxious feelings.

You can also try exercising to help to reduce stress. When you exert your body you free your mind from stressors and also help your body to accept the changes that the stressor has incorporated into your life.
