How To Unload Excess Mental Baggage

Most of us are able to discuss clearly our physical ailments and are able to get relief from them. However, it is difficult for any one of us to unload that excess mental baggage and feel relieved. Here are a few methods that could really help one unload one’s mental baggage.

Breathing deeply in and out of the lungs while doing yoga or pranayamas helps one to feel mentally relaxed. One should experience and be present with one’s breath. Besides this one must he aware of one’s emotions and do certain yoga and meditative postures that help one to unload one’s excess mental baggage. Breathing in through one’s mouth and breathing out through the teeth making a hissing sound helps one release stress and pent up feelings. Never allow pent up feelings to add to your mental baggage and unload them periodically.

Enlisting the help of a friend or loved one and telling them that you wish to unload your mental baggage helps them to help you and motivate you from time to time. You could also help that person in return. Visualize and have a powerful intention to unload the mental baggage. This would soon become a reality of life.

The most important aspect is that it is best to allocate time when you can be all to yourself. You could be relaxed and calm and figure out things for yourself and find out how you are responsible for some of the excess baggage; depending fully on your mental processes only and what you can do to release or unload that excess mental baggage.

Never allow guilt to add to the excess mental baggage. It is best to love yourself and think of people who love and respect you also. Realize that all make mistakes and most mistakes can be rectified. Be positive about changes to unload that excess mental baggage.

Spiritualism, enjoying simple things in nature and in one’s life helps a lot to help one to unload or find the mental baggage was just unwanted baggage. Enjoying nature, its innocence, its simplicity with uniqueness is nothing but a method to unload that unwanted mental baggage.
