How to Use Vitamins for Avoiding Joint Problems

Vitamin deficiencies are major reasons for joint problems like osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Arthritis causes mild-to-unbearable pain in several parts of the body such as knee, hip, wrist and hand. If sufficient amount of vitamins and minerals are restored in the body, it can help to deal with the problem.

However, consumption of vitamin supplements does not guarantee complete cure of joint pain. It only provides considerable relief from the warning and avoids further development of the diseases. Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D and Vitamin E are particularly helpful for the treatment of joint problems.

Vitamin A
Lack of Vitamin A causes swelling in joints and can even lead to inappropriate expansion of the bones. Eat sufficient amount of Vitamin A-enriched foods for better maintenance of body-joints. It also protects eyes and skin.

Vitamin B
Different Vitamin Bs such as Vitamin B3, B5, B6 and B12 works efficiently for avoiding joint problems. Vitamin B3 improves joint mobility and increase blood flow. If you are not suffering from gout, blood pressure or sliver problems, then you cannot have B3 supplements. Otherwise, it opens small arteries and decrease tissue inflammation. B5 and B6 are good for joint pains that help to retain flexibility in the joints. B12 also does the same but it also protects nerves, produces myelin and helps in digestion.

Vitamin C
This form of vitamin develops collagen, which is important to maintain strong joints, cartilage and ligaments. It reduces pain due to its anti-inflammatory ingredients.

Vitamin D
Deficiency of Vitamin D can lead to arthritis. When body cannot restore cartilage in the joints naturally, it starts giving problems to the joints. Food with Vitamin D constituents should be taken everyday to heal joint pains. Gorge on fatty fish or eggs.

Vitamin E
Vitamin E boosts powerful antioxidants to guard the joints. Flexibility of joints is also benefited.

Vitamins heal arthritis and osteoarthritis and thus you must be careful with your vitamin consumption. Consult a fitness expert and get healthy vitamin diet for your joint pains.
