When you feel bloated and uneasy your body is retaining more water than it needs to. In this case you begin to feel like every part of your body is a jelly like substance that is filled with water. Speak with your doctor if you experience this feeling often. If not then you can try a few changes in your food preparation and eating habits that may prove to be beneficial to your health.

Start with reducing the amount of salt you eat. Processed meats and fast foods like chips and crisps are always full of unnecessary salts. Instead of salt use other herbs to add taste to your food. Garlic and lemon are two good options that can replace salt. They are healthier options as well.

It may seem uncanny, but in order to get rid of the water in your body, you need to drink some more. If your body is running low on water then there are chances that it acts like a sponge and absorbs the water that it has stored and this leads to a feeling of bloating. Drinking about 2 to 3 liters of water daily helps to flush out the waste and toxins from your body.

Drink a cup of green tea to help you to promote your health. The tea is filled with the goodness of nature and often helps to relieve body cramps and muscle tension, two prominent symptoms of the bloating syndrome. Caffeine acts as a natural diuretic and helps to flush out excess water from the body. However, one must caution themselves about the amount of caffeine that they ingest as it can cause internal dehydration.

Follow a strict diet and avoid eating before meals. This can lead to confusion in your digestive system. Giving your digestive organs time to relax between meals helps it to prevent bloating. Exercise between your meals in order to help your body to process and utilize the food that you have just provided it with.
