Stress is as common as the door in your house. Who doesn’t have stress? However I can tell you aromas do a lot to relieve stress and it’s related problems. Aromatherpy or using aromas at home to cure stress and it’s related conditions is very easy. You just have to have the various oils and aromas at home and then you can start off natural cure of stress at home.

These essential oils can be added to your bath, diluted in a neutral non aromatic oil and used as a massage or applied in your handkerchief. They could also be placed on light bulb fragrance rings. Putting a few drops of oil in a bucket and keeping it in the tub when you have a bath helps to improve your moods.

Basil, is one of the best aromatic method to improve your moods. It is a nerve tonic and a few drops of basil pure oil can be mixed with a thimbleful of vodka. Then it could be mixed in 4 ounces of distilled water and put in a clean spray bottle. You could keep it in the refridgerator and used by shaking it well and spraying it on your skin taking care to avoid your eyes. This aroma helps relieve stress and give a real lift to your moods. Alternately you could mix this oil with a thinbleful of milk and put in your bath for the same refreshing feel.

Oil made out of Clarysage is an excellent confidence booster and restorer and also elevates your mood. Never mix it with alchol, but you can spray it on your skin or use it in your bath. I am sure you would not like to miss on this aroma to feel real relieved of stress.

A few drops of geranium could be used to have that refreshing bath or could also be mixed in your lotion. This aroma is ideal for those going through mood swings, depression and for women having premenstrual syndrome or having irregular or painful periods.

Are you one of those who is awake all night thinking of your problems at work or at home. There is a solution for your stress in the form of lavender oil. This aroma is believed to have a very relaxing effect and would help you feel real realxed. You can use it as a massage, or in a bath or it can even be inhaled. Lavender also helps relieve pain and promises you good sleep.

If you are in the mood to yell at your spouse or child for a minor mistake they commited or have been stressed enough to have bad dreams and nightmares, do have a massage or bath with Roman chamomile. You could also use it as a compress. The aroma acts as a mild sedative and also helps to boost your moods. Toddlers tantrums can also be handled with this aroma.  However it is better to not use it if the person is allergic to ragweed.

Sweet lime oil can be used by putting a few drops of it’s oil in a bath. It could also be used with lavender to make you have a real emotional lift.

However be cautious while attempting aromatherapy at home. First, it is best to use dilute oils, blend the oil with cold compressed oils like grape seed oil. Next it is advised that you should not keep certain oils in the sun before use, because it could cause rashes or a burning sensation. Also do not go out in the sun immediately after applying these oils. Be sure to not try to drink it and know how it is, it could also be toxic. Consult your doctor if you are under specific treatment involving radiation or chemotherapy. Be careful in preserving these oils from the reach of children because they could be fatal if misused.

To conclude, hope you are able to get over stress with aromas. This is one of the most natural methods to feel good and motivated.
