Milk is known to have an ingredient called tryptophan which changes to a soothing chemical called serotonin after being consumed and then to melatonin, an ingredient that induces sleep.

Using Chamomile and Lavender Essential Oil: In Aromatherapy, both chamomile and lavender essential oils are used for better relaxation and sleep. The sufferer just needs to rub a few drops of chamomile oil or lavender oil into the neck and the shoulders. This method can not only induce the sleep of the individuals but also helps in lengthy period of slumber.
