Lessons Taught By Nature To Lead A Full Life

May 1, 2009

Today’s materialistic world has made us forget nature which would give us a lot of benefits by her nature. We should allot some time to go out into nature and admire it and bring back those pleasant emotions that we would cherish at all times. I am sure we would experience changes in our physical and mental health and feel rejunevated.

Make sure to equip yourself with a digital camera, during your appointment with nature and capture those wonderful moments. This does not mean you have to plan a trip to a hill station or go on a cruise or on a treking trip. Experience it in your own garden or a nearby park. Set your appointment with nature on each Saturday or Sunday when you are in a relaxed mood.

Experience the beauty and and fragrance of those blooming flowers. Enjoy the chirping of birds, feel the emptiness of nature and be one with it, with no other thoughts. Nature would have taught you to give to others and not expect in return.

When out in nature, observe those broken trees. It is interesting to note that broken tress feed worms; meaning death creates life.

Another things that it conveys to us is that it is good to be useful to all and it would be good to be useful to someone else even in death. When we have a feeling we should do for others, it brings back gratitude and love from others which is good for us. This brings us to think that when we pledge to donate organs of our body like eyes, heart and the like we provide a better life to the person on whom it is used.

Besides just notice nature and observe how content it is; it does not complain to anybody at all and is so very content. It also looks so very peaceful. This brings us to think our life is so full of the rat race to possess more and more and we are constantly under tension. This is not to mean that we should not be ambitious but contentment is very important in whatever we have too to be peaceful and calm in life.

Just have a notepad with you and forget all your other worries and do note all the positive emotions you feel during your weekly appointment with nature. Pick up those stones, flowers and leaves and enjoy their creative beauty, tread softly on the grass and leaves and watch the transformation come over you. You are sure to experience the therapetical value of nature.

You will be taught by nature  to be strong and adaptable in life. Just observe nature and think of how she has borne up to storms to destructions and Nature, has the strength to bear all our negative thoughts. She is so patient and has readily adapted herself to everything from storms to destructions and has adapted herself well. Besides, your best tension reliever is nature as she would be hear patiently to all you want to tell her and would dare not tell anyone else.

I am sure you have been taught a lot by nature. These qualities would help you lead a happy and calm life which is the basis of good health too.
