Natural And Home Treatments For Tuberculosis
Tuberculosis is one of the highly infectious diseases caused by a bacteria namely mycobacterium tuberculosis. Home remedies for tuberculosis
Custard apple is found to be one of the main home remedies for tuberculosis. Two to three custard apples along with about twenty five raisins can be boiled in water to prepare a decoction. This mixture after filtering can be mixed with two teaspoon of sugar and taken once in a day as a part of treatment for tuberculosis.
Indian gooseberry is an excellent home remedy for tuberculosis. A tablespoon each of juice of gooseberry and honey can be mixed together and this can be taken once in a day. Daily consumption of this mixture can help in increasing vitality as well as resistance power. Pine apple is one of the best home remedies for tuberculosis. Daily intake of a glass of pine apple juice can effectively help in removing mucus and recovering the disease. This is one of the ancient remedies used in the curing of tuberculosis.
Bananas are found to be valuable in curing tuberculosis. By the consumption of bananas it is found to cure the frequent cough and high fever in the person suffering from tuberculosis. Oranges are very effective in the treatment of tuberculosis. A glass of orange juice can be taken daily by mixing a pinch of salt and a spoon of honey in it. This can very easily cure the expectoration due to its saline actions in the lungs.
Drumstick leaves are good for curing tuberculosis at a faster rate. Freshly prepared soup of drumstick leaves can be used as a home remedy for the disease. About a hand full of drumstick leaves can be boiled in 200 ml of water and this soup can be taken along with a little salt, pepper and lime juice mixed in it.
Bottle gourd is an effective remedy for tuberculosis which can be taken in cooked form. Cooked bottle gourd can be included in the daily meal of the person suffering from tuberculosis. This can help in increasing the immunity and hence can prevent further infection of tuberculosis germs.
Tuberculosis can be cured using mint as a remedy. Fresh juice of mint is found to be valuable in treating tuberculosis. About a teaspoon of mint juice can be mixed with two teaspoon each of malt vinegar and honey in about 120 ml of freshly prepared carrot juice to prepare the decoction. This can be taken once in a day as a tonic for the treatment of tuberculosis.
A paste made from asafetida, basil and camphor is found to be beneficial in the treatment of tuberculosis. About five grams of asafetida can be mixed with ten grams of camphor, a little of neem leaves and a small amount of fresh juice of holy basil leaves. This paste can be made into tablets form and can be used for curing the disease by taking 3 to 4 of them daily.
Celery can be used as a good home remedy for curing tuberculosis. Freshly prepared juice of celery leaves can be taken several times in a day as a part of treatment for tuberculosis. This can effectively make the stool rigid. Milk is rich in calcium which is essential in curing tuberculosis. Following a milk diet for about three days can be very effective in the treatment of tuberculosis. Daily intake of a glass of milk can be beneficial and helpful in the treatments.
About 10 pieces each of asafetida and black pepper can be mixed well to prepare a paste. A drop of opium can be also added to the paste and this can be made into small tablets. One to two pellets can be taken with an interval of 5 hours for better results. This is an important home remedy.
A well blended mixture of sugar candies with a little honey is found to be very effective in the treatment of tuberculosis. This mixture can be taken several times a day as a remedy for the disease. By adding about 5 pieces of long pepper in a glass of milk and boiling it you can prepare a valuable remedy for tuberculosis. A small amount of sugar can be also added to the decoction for taste.
Nutmeg and jaggery is proved to be very helpful in the cure of tuberculosis. A little amount of jaggery can be added to a crushed nutmeg and can be made into small pellets. Having a pellet daily along with warm water can very effectively cure the disease.

Patient suffering from tuberculosis should take rest and should try to avoid all types of stresses and tensions. Fresh air and sunshine is essential in the treatment of tuberculosis. Patient should strictly avoid food items like coffee, puddings, white bread and white sugar. Tuberculosis being a dreadful disease, medication has to be taken to cure the disease as home remedies cannot cure it completely.
