Hemroids in other words known as piles are extremely painful. They are clusters of tissues and occur when the blood vessels in the rectum or around the anus become inflamed and swollen. External hemorrhoids appear under the skin of the anus and are very itchy. They can even bleed and cause a lot of pain. Internal hemorrhoids occur inside the rectum and usually cause no symptoms but if there is a lot of straining when passing stool they can start bleeding and sometimes they even protrude out of the anus.
Usually there is a lot of itching and pain in the anal area and passing stool can be an agonizing task. The main causes for hemorrhoids are chronic constipation, obesity, anal intercourse and straining when passing a stool.
Tips To Cure For Hemroids Naturally
Diet plays a major role in the prevention of hemorrhoids. Processed foods, too much animal food and refined sugars and starches interfere with digestion and harden the stools.
Eat lots of fruits and vegetables which are rich in dietary fibre and which will always keep your stools soft and easy to evacuate. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep the digestive tract well hydrated.
Raisins besides being full of valuable nutrition which keeps the body strong and healthy are also rich in antioxidants which remove the harmful free radicals from the body and detoxify it.
They have a large fibre content which eliminates constipation, keeps the stool soft and facilitates its easy evacuation. Soak fifteen raisins in half a cup of water, overnight.
In the morning drink the water in which you have soaked the raisins and eat the raisins. Daily use will soon bring tremendous relief.
Fill a basin with chilled water. Dip a soft clean cotton cloth into it and wring out the excess water. Fold the cloth several times to form a compress then apply it to the rectal area.
When the cloth loses its chilliness dip again and repeat the process for twenty minutes. Do this three times daily. The chill will not only ease the pain and swelling but it will also cure the itching and alleviate the discomfort.
Soak In A Warm Sitz Bath
Fill the sitz bath with warm water. Soak your anal area for twenty minutes. Do this, regularly three or four times daily to keep the anal area absolutely clean. The itching and pain will abate and the swelling in the blood vessels will gradually subside, allowing you much ease and relaxation.
After each soak dry the rectal area thoroughly with a soft dry towel. You should also not use dry toilet paper as this chafes the hemorrhoids. Use wet or moist towelettes after each bowel movement.
Aloe vera is very useful for hemorrhoids. Take a leaf of aloe vera and slice it in the centre. Scoop out the gel and apply it directly to the anus. Rub the gel gently over the hemorrhoids. Apply three times daily to get rid of the pain and burning sensation.
