
Your feet carry the burden of your body the entire day. We stuff them into fashionable and yet uncomfortable footwear and cause them to suffer in pain for hours on end. We stand in a bad posture that causes them to pain some more. In short we cause our feet a lot of agony and in return they take us wherever we need to go. We can thank them for their selfless love by taking a little extra care of them so that they serve us better.
The biggest problem is that we put fashion before health. By wearing fancy shoes that are uncomfortable we are risking long term damage to our feet. What we must do is wear footwear that is comfortable. Never wear a size that is too small or big for you. A small size will cause your feet to be stuffed into it for the entire day while a size larger will rub against your skin and cause blisters. Always wear a pair of shoes that fits your feet well.
Massage your feet at the end of the day with olive or coconut oil. The massage helps to apply pressure to the different parts of your foot and helps to relieve any pain or stress in your foot. The oils help to moisturize your skin and prevent aging and sagging skin.
Exfoliate your legs once a month. Getting rid of the dead skin cells will help to reduce the cracks on your feet. Use a pumice stone and avoid using metal object on your feet as they can cause extensive damage to the skin on your feet.
The soles of your feet are normally dry as they do not have any oily glands there. You must take care to avoid them being dry as that will lead to cracks on your feet. You must use a moisturizer on your feet so that they are soft and healthy.
You must soak your feet in warm soapy water daily. This helps to relieve the stress from your feet. Soaking your feet also helps to hydrate the skin.
